We are a distinctly different restaurant in Winnipeg. In the spring of 2007 Beaujena’s introduced the concept of the surprise dinner. Ultimately, we found that our guests preferred this unique dining experience so much that the regular menu became unnecessary. So unlike most other restaurants where there is no alternative but to simply make selections from a menu, we invite our guests to place themselves in the capable hands of our chef who will take them on a five or seven-course culinary tour through France and the Mediterranean. Each dish will be a surprise as diners won’t know what they’re getting until it is placed before them. The anticipation is half the fun. Every month we offer a new and unique surprise dinner with optional wine pairing creating the perfect marriage of food and wine. And to ensure freshness and flavor, our chef personally selects organically grown ingredients from local grocers and farmer’s markets.
